Skip leaves behind so many people who loved him, including his wife and soul mate of many years, Linda who will be lost without him. His family, especially his brother Rick who meant the world to him, his beloved daughters, grandchildren, his many cousins, and his two Italian Greyhounds. He also leaves behind many wonderful friends and customers whose company he so enjoyed. He was not only the ship's barber in the Navy LPH-7 but a very beloved barber for many years in West Hartford Center. He had a big personality and loved people, finding happiness in each day. Skip had an amazing life accomplishing anything he put his mind to, from being a radio broadcaster as well as the music manager and Disc Jockey for two popular Hartford nightclubs during the 1980's. Skip had many interesting stories to tell of his life experiences that he so enjoyed sharing; he will be surely missed by all who knew him. A mass with military honors for Skip will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy's Church, 225 King Philip Dr., West Hartford. There will be a celebration gathering of his life for family, friends, and customers, which will be announced following his mass.
