Matthew J. Osika

Matthew J. Osika, 73 of New Britain, passed away Monday April 22, 2024 at Bridgeport Hospital.

He was born on December 27, 1950. Matthew was predeceased by both of his parents Mieczyslaw and Stella Osika. 

He previously worked at Story Brothers as a mechanic. Matthew loved to laugh! He was fun-loving and loved playing board games, watching movies, and had a great time going camping with his family. 

Matthew leaves behind his sister, Christine Casella, younger brother Richard Osika and nieces Sharon Therrien and Jamie McPherson along with their families, and nephew Bryan Wosczyna and family. 

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home and Crematory located at 205 South Main Street, New Britain, CT. Private burial for immediate family, Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
