KENSINGTON - Michael “Big Mike” Baczewski, 62, husband of the late love of his life Pamela “Beba” Eve (Prestash) Baczewski, was spirited away on Tuesday evening leaving his son Michael E.Z. Baczewski fully responsible for carrying on his legacy of humor, and to ensure people laugh every day. Mike would often say he would rise well before the roosters, if that’s true then perhaps we will all be in trouble - who’s going to wake up the roosters now?

Born in New Britski, to the late Zygfryd J. "Ziggy" Baczewski, and Pauline (Zakrzewska) Baczewski he is survived by his siblings and a large family, that better laugh more than they cry and bring a good story in his memory to his celebration of life ceremony, which will be immediately following his calling hours, Saturday, December 15, at the Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., New Britain from 9-11AM. Mike’s dog, Marley, kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Out To Pasture Farm & Rescue, Inc., P.O. Box 310174, Newington, CT 06131.
