Michael Paul DiCesare

Michael Paul DiCesare passed away peacefully Sunday,
January 22 nd 2023. He was born and raised in New Britain,
graduated from New Britain High class of ’76 and, as a
talented musician briefly attended Berkeley College in
Boston. Michael was pre deceased by his parents Arnold and
Shirley DiCesare and his younger brother, Arnold. He leaves
behind his Aunt Jean DiCesare of Enfield and Aunt Lois
Stathis of Newington, many cousins that live throughout the
country and numerous friends, far too many to count.
Michael didn’t have a mean bone in his body and was always
there to help anyone in need. Michael’s passion was music
and he had many famous musician friends. He was talented
at making guitars, loved the shore, camping and chilling by a
camp fire, boating, playing basketball and bicycling. Anyone
who knew him knows what a wonderful man he was. Michael
may be gone but he will never be forgotten. A memorial
service will be held on Saturday, February 4 th 2023 at 11:00
AM at Saint Joseph’s Church on South Main Street in New
Britain and his ashes will be laid to rest at Saint Mary’s
Cemetery also in New Britain. Any donations can be made to
