Miguel "Mito" Angel Lara

Miguel Angel Lara, age 29, of New Britain, CT., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Miguel was born October 1, 1992 in New London, CT; the beloved son of Milcio Antonio Lara and Guillermina (Meletrich) Rodriguez.

Miguel, or Mito, as he was affectionately known, was a loving and dedicated father, son, brother, and friend to many.  He enjoyed listening to music, watching anime, cooking meals for his family, and watching the Patriots play.  Mito had a great sense of humor; his smile and laughter were contagious. He had a huge heart and was loved by many. Mito was happiest when surrounded by family. He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Mito was predeceased by his brother, Angel; whom he is now reunited with.

In addition to his parents, Mito is survived by his: two daughters, Sierra and Annabel Lara; four brothers, Luis, Henry, Antonio, and Andres; step-father, Jose; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.

Friends may greet the family on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St. New Britain, CT. 06051.
