Paul Adam LaPinsky, 86, of Plymouth, CT (formally of Wolcott, CT) died at home on October 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Monticello, New York on October 5, 1937, to the late Ana Mae (Yonker) and Stanley LaPinsky.
Paul lived in Fallsburg, New York until he was eight years old when he moved to Great Barrington, Massachusetts. He attended Cardinal Farley Military Academy and graduated as Captain, the second highest officer to graduate. He also attended Siena College. In the summer of 1957, he met and later married the love of his life, MaryAnn Stahowski, a nursing student. Paul was employed as the District Manager for Home Gas in Plainville, CT before moving to Belchertown, MA where he managed Bay State Arrow Gas.
Born in New York, Paul was an avid NY Giants, Yankees, and Knick fan and once he moved to Connecticut, he became a proud and avid UCONN Husky fan. Paul was a quiet man of integrity with a strong work ethic and instilled many valuable life lessons into his children and grandchildren. He had a tremendous sense of humor, always enjoyed a good joke and his trips to the casino with his wife MaryAnn.
Paul was predeceased by his son Michael Paul LaPinsky of Wheat Ridge, Colorado and his sister Joan Sauer of Clayton, Georgia.
Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and is survived by his wife MaryAnn of Plymouth, his daughters Maureen (John) Gamache and Paula (Rich) Paolino of Woodbury, CT; Karen (Bill) Weber of Van Alstyne, Texas, and Nancy LaPinsky of Bristol, CT. His grandchildren, Jennifer Culpepper of Westminster, Colorado; Amanda (Lennie) Merritt of Arvada, Colorado; Jessica Gamache (Mike Sturges) of Woodbury, CT; Zachary LaPinsky of Van Alstyne, Texas; Ryan Paolino of Windsor Locks, CT and Richie Paolino of Woodbury, CT and several great grandchildren, his brother Gary (Audrey) LaPinsky of Sanford, Florida and his sister Gail LaPinsky of Winter Park, Florida.
