Paul Derrick Tinsley 63, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at St Francis Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Born on April 21, 1955, Paul grew up in Hartford and was the son of Cleveland Tinsley and Burda Lee Robinson. He had a big personality and a penchant for fun and was known as Skipper to his family and childhood friends.
For the past 17 years, Paul worked at C.W. Resources delivering Meals on Wheels to the elderly.
Paul had a wonderful sense of humor and made friends wherever he went. He loved listening to music, especially his prized collection of Elvis and Motown. He enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards, and watching old T.V. shows- he did a great impression of Geraldine from the Flip Wilson show. His favorite past time was hanging out with all of his family and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Cleveland Tinsley III. He leaves to mourn his passing, his brothers, Tyrone Tinsley, and Ronald Tinsley, his sisters Dameta (Mikki) Tinsley and Juliet Morgan, his stepfather Christopher Morgan, many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his friends and colleagues at Vinfen and C.W. Resources.
A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held on Wednesday May 23, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Keney Park Pond House, 383 Edgewood St., Hartford,CT.
