Philip Bourgoin Obituary

Philip Alberte Bourgoin, 67 passed away very unexpectedly on Thursday October 22nd 2020.

He was born on June 16th 1953 in New Britain CT and was a life long resident. Phil was a veteran of the US Navy and served during Vietnam. He worked at Stop n’ Shop as a deli clerk for many years. He was a kind and loving partner to his girlfriend Polly, as well as an amazing father to his sons Doug, Jason, and Jesse.

Phil was a kind and caring man who would always put the needs of his family before his own. He had an amazing sense of humor and would cheer anyone up when they are down. Phil always aimed to make people feel welcome, whether volunteering to help someone in times of need, offering sage advice, or just being supportive to his loved ones, Phil would often go above and beyond to make you feel at home and apart of his family. We will miss him greatly.

His death was preceded by his father Clifford Bourgoin and mother Mildred G. (Pelletier) Bourgoin. He was survived by his girlfriend of 38 years Polly Ann Wight, his ex-wife Donna Gombar, his children; Douglas and his wife Michelle Bourgoin, Jason and wife Sachiko Bourgoin, Jesse and his girlfriend Angelica Cierniewski. His four grandchildren; Summer Bourgoin, Brandon, Evan and Olivia Wight. His sister Lisa Compton and her daughters Jessica Mantha and Amber Derosier and their families.
