Philip Anthony Stapelfeld

Philip Anthony (Tony) Stapelfeld, age 52 of Unionville, CT., passed away quietly on October 19, 2022 at his home. He was born in Littleton, New Hampshire on November 10, 1969. He was surrounded by family and friends.  

Tony graduated Canton High School and went to work for Ensign Bickford in Simsbury, CT. From there he went to school to work as a Union Electrician. He loved his work.

This young man loved his friends, road trips, music by his favorite band Reckless Kelly, outdoor sports, whether it be skiing, hunting, snowmobiling and especially fishing. Tony was always willing to help his friends & family with anything and everything they needed.

Tony leaves his parents Thomas and Virginia Judd Stapelfeld of NC, his sister Christina Stapelfeld Horan and husband Mark of SC, niece Jordan A. Steady of NC, uncle Philip (Pete) Judd and wife Patricia of SC, and aunts Barbara Judd Frisk of FL and Elizabeth (Betsy) Judd Zeller of GA. Also left behind are cousins Wendy Judd Barry, husband Michael of CT, Scripture Zeller Gonzalez, husband Peter of NY, Ruth Way of CT, Chet Way of CT and John Way of FR. On this list would include the many cherished friends he has met along the way.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 22, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Farmington Woods Country Club, 43 Heritage Dr., Avon, CT 06001. Use the entrance off of W. Avon Rd, let them know its for an event at the Clubhouse.
