Raymond "Ray" J. Stuka, 80, of Southington, CT, passed away on February 13, 2024. He was born on December 7, 1943, in New Britain, CT. Ray was a beloved father and uncle, and he will be deeply missed by his surviving family members.
Ray is survived by his stepdaughter, Rachael Keating and her husband Kevin Rich; niece Kim J. Mozdzierz, and her husband, Jim, of Tolland; his nephew, Michael J. Stuka, Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Lutz, FL; and his nephew, Matthew L. Stuka, and his wife, Sherri, of West Hartford. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Stuka, his sister, Barbara Oulette, his partner, Maureen Hunt and his beloved companion Fritz.
Ray had a fulfilling career as a Tool & Die Maker, where he showcased his exceptional skills and dedication. He took great pride in his work and was highly respected by his colleagues.
In his free time, Ray enjoyed feeding the birds and talking with his friends around town. He was also a former member of the Elks. He found joy and camaraderie in participating in various Elks activities and events. His commitment to community service and fellowship was commendable.
The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Luddy & Peterson's in New Britain, CT. The family appreciates all the support and condolences during this difficult time. Funeral services will be held privately for close family and friends to pay their final respects to Ray.
