Richard Kozlak

Kozlak, Richard, 77 passed away on 7/31/2023 in New Britain, CT. He was born in Hartford and later resided in Wethersfield, East Granby, Berlin and New Britain at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Andrew and Helen (Moskwa) Kozlak of Wethersfield. He was a self-employed floor mechanic for colonial carpets in Avon for over 40 years and Petits Store of Floors and more in New Britain, CT. He was an honorable discharged Vietnam vet and avid fan of drag racing.

He is survived by his best friend and wife Nancy (Smith-Boucher) of New Britain. He is also survived by sister-in-law Candy Kozlak of Amston, CT. He is also survived by his daughters Sally Gagne of Broad Brook, Christine Boucher of New Britain, and Kelly Boucher of Newington and his precious grandchildren.

Dakota Rose Hill of New Britain, Andy Guillotin of Newington, Kaden Detol of New Britain, Caresse Leclerc and Brianna Gagne of Broad Brook, Danielle Andresen of Enfield, and RileyRose Boucher of New Britain.

He was predeceased by his brother Andrew of Amston, CT, his daughter Donna Andresen of Enfield, granddaughter Margaret Detol of Meriden and his best friend Ferd Benson of Kensington.

There will be no calling hours, but funeral services will be held privately at the family's discretion.
