Robert E. Fairwood

Robert E. Fairwood,76, of Kensington, CT, husband of Christine Fairwood, died suddenly on December 5, 2023 at The Hospital of Central Ct in New Britain. Robert was born in New Britain, CT,  the son of Henry and Lena Fairwood. He attended St. Paul Middle School, Berlin High School, and graduated from CCSU. Robert taught for many years in the Meriden, CT school system, retiring in 2010.

Robert was passionate about British motor cars, and he restored vehicles such as Rolls Royces, Jaguars, and Morgans. 

Besides his wife Christine, he  leaves three brothers, Barry Fairwood and Joseph Fairwood, both of Kensington, CT., and William Fairwood of Australia.

There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
