Robert Anthony Marouski

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Marouski announces his passing on October 1, 2022, at the age of 59 after facing many health challenges over the past eight years. Robert “Bobby” will be remembered lovingly by his wife, Deborah (Laflamme) Marouski of 40 years, his children Jessica Marouski and husband Colby Grange, Robert Marouski and wife Leah and Nicholas Marouski. He will be greatly missed by his six grandchildren, Layla, Zachary, Aubrey, Olivia, Sebastian and Jaxson. Bobby’s grandchildren were his pride and joy and his eyes lit up anytime they were around. Bobby also leaves his father Richard Marouski and wife Rochelle, his brother Richard Marouski Jr., and wife Donna; sisters Ann Williams and husband Brian, Jill Quagliaroli and Rebecca Marouski. Predeceased by his mother Barbara Quagliaroli and husband (Papa) Louis and brother Thomas Quagliaroli.

Bobby was an exceptional operating engineer in the construction field for many years. In earlier years he enjoyed yearly family vacations to Wildwood, fishing, hunting, archery, and his muscle cars. He loved to let loose and have a good time. He was an animal lover and had a special place in his heart for his dogs, Meika and Sage. In recent years Bobby can be remembered drinking bottomless pots of coffee from his special mugs adorned with the faces of his grandchildren, watching his favorite shows in his chair and spending time on his deck listening to music while watching his prize tomato plants grow. He loved to crack jokes and is known for his famous one liners. He was a hard worker, dedicated father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He would take the shirt off his back for those in need. He enjoyed taking on projects and helping out his family and friends. Many special memories made through the years with his brother in-law Brian and friends Ron & Dave who were always there for him. He was a very strong man with a kind heart whose memory will live on through so many.

A Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, October 13th, at 11am.  St. Mary Church, 46 Valley Street in Willimantic. A private burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends and Family are invited for a Celebration of Bobby’s Life, November 5th at The Windham Club, 184 Club Road, North Windham from 6pm-10pm.
