Robert Wayne Schilling

Robert Wayne Schilling, age 73 of Meriden passed away on April 16, 2022, in the hospital from complications of a stroke. He graduated from Bristol Eastern High School and completed a Tool & Dye apprenticeship at Pratt & Whitney. He graduated from CCSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master’s degree of Science and Business from RPI. He was a First Lieutenant in the Army National Guard. He worked a variety of jobs including digging pools for Rizzo Pool and as an engineer spanning more than 25 years for Pratt & Whitney and Sikorsky.

Robert leaves behind his wife Rosemary and two children Jason Schilling and Joline Girdzis and four grandchildren Ayden Schilling, Lucas Schilling, Tony Schilling, and Blake Girdzis. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Wesley Schilling and Debra Garlington

Robert is greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
