Robert J Slivinski

Robert J. Slivinski, Sr. age 73 of Trumbull, Ct passed away peacefully, Saturday Dec 14, 2019 at Danbury Hospital surrounded by family.  He leaves behind three children his son Robert J. Slivinski, Jr. of Woodbury, daughter Tanya Hazlett and her husband Mike Hazlett of Plainville, and daughter Tara Desimone and her husband Tony DeSimone of Watertown, along with four grandchildren: Bree Slivinski-MacInnis, Alex Santana, and Santino and Gabriella DeSimone.  Also left behind are his girlfriend Dawn Loecher and his ex-wife and longtime friend Patricia (Peregrim) Slivinski.

He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Mary (Huber) Slivinski and his wife Carol (Prendergast) Slivinski.  His beloved dog, Wrinkles, was put to rest on Monday, December 16, 2019.

Robert enjoyed spending time outdoors taking care of his gardens and pond.  He loved fishing, classic cars, and eagles.  He was a truck driver for many years before becoming a fork lift operator for Shepaug Reload and Distribution in Newtown, Ct. 

There will be no services.  He will be laid to rest at a later date in a private burial among close family in Woonsocket, S.D.
