Rose (Bouchard) Lagace, 91of Bristol, CT, passed away peacefully on February 23rd with beloved family by her side.
Born March 29, 1934, in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Edmund and Grace (Kearney) Bouchard. She relocated to Bristol, CT, where she resided for 67 years. She is survived by her partner, Clarence St. Amant of Bristol, her children, Anne Lagace of Bristol, Victor Lagace and Deb Gallo of Southington, Lawrence and Kathie Lagace of Bristol, Gracey and Bobby Poglitsch of Bristol, and her daughter-in-law, Letha Lagace of Florida.
She leaves behind her loving grandchildren Melissa (Lagace) and husband Norman Major of Enfield, Travis and Christina Lagace of South Carolina, Zachary Lagace of Bristol, CT, Felicia (Lagace) and husband Eric Peterson of New Britain, Brittany Roche of Bristol CT and Brett Poglitsch of Bristol, additionally she leaves behind great grandchildren Makayla Lagace, Jordan DeMaine, Dylan DeMaine, Aidan Lagace, Gabriel Lagace, and Ryleigh Major.
She was predeceased by her sons, Roger Lagace and Donald Lagace.
Rose was known for her love of dancing, cooking, and her open-door policy. She was a devoted mother, Memere, aunt, sister, and friend. She will be missed by many!
Her family will receive relatives and friends at Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home, 205 South Main St, New Britain, CT, on Friday, February 27th, from 5-8 pm. Family and Friends are invited to meet at St. Gregory the Great church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol, CT, at 10 am for a Catholic mass, followed by burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 522 Terryville Avenue, Bristol, CT.
