Steven Anderson Obituary

Steven Anderson, age 69, passed away on Friday, September 24th, 2021. Steve was born in New York and is the son of R. Alan Anderson and Rose Anderson. He grew up on Long Island and graduated from Long Island University. Steve moved to Florida for a few years before settling in Connecticut.

He leaves behind his three children, Ryan Anderson, CT, Heather Anderson, FL, and Nicollette Anderson, FL. Nicollette was his pride and joy and she loved him very much. He also leaves his four sisters, Lori Thombs and husband, Barry, North Richland Hills, TX, Trudy Kocher and husband, Karl, Bluffton, SC, Julie Bushnell and husband, Steve, Broad Brook, CT, and Karen Anderson, Columbia, SC. And his 9 nieces and nephews who he loved very much, Michelle Torma, Jeremy Gaines, Amber Parks, Lauren Sanchez, Nick Sanchez, Jordan Gaines, Michelle, Patrick and Luke Boyter. And 6 great nieces and nephews.

He was a painting contractor and he loved to travel. Steve was a huge Yankees fan and wore his Yankees cap and a big smile in almost every picture you see. He loved golf and fishing. He loved being with his family. In his later years he struggled with multiple health issues. If you have a loved one with mental illness, love them, support them, and try to understand the illness. He loved his friends and family big. And they loved him too. He will be missed just as big. The family wants to thank Gloria Mark and Tattious Doug for their support through the years. Go Yankees!
