Thomas (Heanue) Miller, age 56, of South Windsor, passed away September 9, 2020 after a 30 year battle with his injury.
Tom leaves behind many loved ones including his soulmate and wife of 40 years Ginny Miller. A son Tom Miller, Jr., a daughter Mariah Wyatt, a son in-law Mike Wyatt, and two amazing grandchildren Alena and Braxtyn Wyatt.
Tom’s past times included spending time with his family and close friends, taking trips to Myrtle Beach and the Berkshires and spending time with his dogs. Tom was known for wearing his famous cowboy hat and his comical way’s. He had a deep respect for the American flag, Law Enforcement and the NRA. Tom retired in 2002 from The Department Of Corrections where he was proud to have served as a correctional officer. Throughout all the suffering Tom endured during his life he will always be remembered for his giving ways and sense of humor.
Tom’s family is beyond grateful for all those who contributed to Tom’s care over the years and will be holding a celebration of his life at a later date.
