Timothy C. Ertel passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of
faith, strength, and unwavering devotion to those he loved most. A loving husband, devoted
father, and steadfast man of God, Timothy lived his life with resilience, compassion, and a quiet
courage that inspired everyone who knew him.

Timothy will be remembered for his loving heart, passionate spirit, and incredible strength
through every season of life. His Christian faith was the foundation of who he was. He found
peace and purpose in reading the Bible and sharing the love and grace of God with those around
him. His faith was not only something he spoke about, but something he lived each day through
kindness, patience, and service to others.

He found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life, especially bird watching and spending
time in reflection and prayer. Whether watching the morning birds outside his window or sharing
wisdom from Scripture, Timothy had a calming presence that brought comfort to family and
friends alike.

Above all else, Timothy cherished his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love. His love for
them was immeasurable, and his guidance, encouragement, and example will continue to live on
through each of them.

His loss leaves behind many loved ones.

Foremost is his beloved spouse of 36 years, Karen Ertel. She lives knowing he is in Heaven and
they will reunite again. His children and their spouses Jasmin and Mike, Tim and Gretchen,
Adam and Pam, Jake and Tawnya, David, Thomas and Aimee.

He found exceptional happiness and love in his 13 grandchildren: Autumn, Justice
(predeceased), Aven, Emma, Leila, Maiya, Evangeline, Gridley, Noah, Isaac, Gabriel, Chase, and
Greyson.

He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Maureen, husband Dennis, and their children Nate and
Evan.

Additionally, he leaves behind his extended family, Terri and Tommy (predeceased) and their
children Brett, Stacey, and Bart, Scott and Yong Im and their daughter Jennifer, George Fraley,
Denice DeCaro, Dayton, nephew Jimmy and niece Tara.

Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, his family finds comfort in knowing that
Timothy’s faith carried him home into the presence of the Lord he loved so dearly. His life was a
testament to perseverance, faithfulness, and love, and his memory will forever remain a blessing
to all who knew him.
