William Davila, age 61, beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital, in Waterbury, with the love of his family by his side.
William, who preferred to be called Willie, will be remembered by his only daughter, Betty Torres, from Bristol, her husband Manuel Torres, his 5 grandchildren, Maria D. Rivera, Bishop J. Olivo, Christopher R. Remillard, Kearria D. Diaz, Bianca J. Olivo, and his 6 great grandchildren, Illyana S. Matos, Lanessa A. Mari, Aurora M. Gavin, Michael J. Gavin, Jr., and Brayden J. Diaz.
Willie spent more then half of his life, with his significant other Luz Molina, and her 4 children Linda Mendez, Doris Molina, John Molina, and Kurt Molina,
Willie, has 9 brothers and sisters, Angel Davila Jr, David Davila, Estelle Davila, Isabel Davila, Elizabeth Santiago, Maria Colon, Ines Figueroa, Miguel Belen, and Armando Colon, and 20 nieces and nephews.
Willie was a long time resident of Waterbury, where he made many friends, while doing what he loved the most, working with his hands, from cars, to scrap, he loved to get dirty, he was a very compassionate, and caring person.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Angel Davila, and Luz Colon.
Prayer Service, followed by a balloon release, will be held at East Mountain Park in Waterbury, Saturday March 6th at 3pm
